According to the Southtown Star / Chicago Sun Times bail was set for $1 million for the man charged with aggravated DUI that caused a fatal accident and killed a dump truck driver on the Dan Ryan. The accident occurred in November – police at the scene of the crash said Leon looked “very high,” and he was taken to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center for a DUI test, which detected cocaine in his system, prosecutors said. Cook County Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr., ordered Leon held in lieu of $1 million bail Saturday at the Cook County Criminal Courthouse. Leon’s next court date is scheduled for Tuesday at the Markham courthouse.
